ARNOLD Klappe

Arnold Has been around aviation since early Childhood. With both parents being private pilots his childhood was spent in the backseat of the family Cherokee on almost weekly adventures. In adulthood, He as work at LSGSky Chefs as a Production manager (Arnold is Red Seal Chef) He has manufactured and Represented Ultralights, and has owned a small recreational Airport and Flight School in BC Canada. He is also one of the founding members of the KASA.

PAUL Chu

Born and educated in Hong Kong, Mr. Chu has extensive experience in aviation matters, and is a noted person in the airline business.

Mr. Chu started his aviation career in 1974 in the Flight Operations Department of Cathay Pacific Airways in Hong Kong. After immigration to Canada in 1976, Mr. Chu has worked for a number of airlines, including Pacific Western, and CP Air. His career highlights including as a Managing Director with Harmony Airways, and Marketing & Business Development Manager, Canada with China Southern Airlines. He has participated in five bilateral air agreement conferences between Canada and two other countries.

A qualified ultra-light aircraft private pilot, Mr. Chu has worked as a consultant with King George Aviation in Surrey BC, and Pacific Aviation Academy in Pitt Meadows BC.

During his 50 years long career, Mr. Chu has also worked as the Business Manager (Canada) with China Travel Services, and the General Manager with Companion Holidays.

Mr. Chu is also a highly experienced and knowledge person in military affairs. He has worked from 1984-89 as a Consultant with Commedia Associated Ltd. a military matters consultant firm dealing with China.

Before immigrating to Canada in 1976, Mr. Chu was one of the six founding officers of the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps. He was the second Commandant of the Corps, and held the rank of Wing Commander.

Mr. Chu is also very active in community social activities. He was appointed by the BC Provincial Government in 1991 as a Director of the BC Travel Assurance Board. He was the first Chinese-Canadian appointed, received re-appointment twice and served for seven years.

Mr. Chu enjoys flying and is still involved with flying recreational light aircraft.
